I am currently instructing a highschool summer program that utilizes the Lego Mindstorms RCX hardware and Robolab software. Several students are having an error transferring their programs to their RCX blocks. The error reads "No RCX Communication (0 bytes written on port 2)". ...

To get younger kids to stop building we have a "LEGO Hands-UP" - which means that you need to hold your hands in the air while directions are being given. Helps keep everyone's attention and the noise down.

This 3-4 period activity is intended to introduce students to the Basic Palette of NxT-G, and apply it to the emerging field of Sociable Robotics.
