I am currently instructing a highschool summer program that utilizes the Lego Mindstorms RCX hardware and Robolab software. Several students are having an error transferring their programs to their RCX blocks. The error reads "No RCX Communication (0 bytes written on port 2)". We have tried the data transfer with multiple RCX blocks (with fresh batteries), multiple IR programmers, blocking out ambient light during programming, etc. The other functions, such as RCX interrogation and retrieving programs from the RCX work fine. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
