How do I save my data in RoboLab?

In Investigator, after you have loaded your data, all you have to do to save it is save the investigator file. You can do this by selecting the File drop down menu at the top of the screen and then selecting Save. If you quit without saving, it will ask you if you want to save before letting you quit.  The next time that you open your investigator file, your data will be saved on your graphs.

In Inventor, your data is not automatically saved with the file. After you have loaded your data onto a graph in an Inventor level of RoboLab, if you save the file and try to open it again, the data will no longer be stored on the graph.

To properly save your data in Inventor, you must right click on your graph, select Data Operations, Make Current Value Default and then save the file again. This will save the data onto the graph so that the next time you open it, the data will still be there. If at any time after that you change the data on the graph, you can always right click on the graph and select Data Operations, Reinitialize Default Value to get back your originally saved data set.
