No. Once you download the RoboLab 2.9 firmware onto your NXT, you will lose the capability to program on the NXT brick.
On-brick programming is a feature of the NXT-G (LEGO Mindstorms NXT)
software. The only way to regain on-brick programming is to re-install
the NXT-G firmware on your NXT. If you do not have NXT-G
software, you will not be able to regain on-brick programming after
installing RoboLab 2.9 firmware.
