Container values are global, meaning they are not automatically reset when a new or different program is opened. Sometimes there are values left in the containers and sensort from a previous program. Zeroing is a good way to ensure that any unwanted values have been cleared.

The reset command sub-menu contains commands used to reset the angle sensor, the mailbox, and several other items to zero. This is useful when establishing a reference or starting point. The reset commands can be used anywhere in a program.
