How do I load my data into ROBOLAB?

If you are using Investigator in ROBOLAB, go to the circle of icons on the left side of your screen.  Select the Upload icon in the lower right quarter of the circle and then the Run button, which is a large arrow icon.  This will load your data from the NXT or RCX directly into Investigator. Make sure your NXT is plugged in through the USB cord or your RCX is facing the IR tower.

If you are using the Inventor levels of ROBOLAB, you need to use the Upload Data icon to load your data onto the computer.  You may need to change your Inventor level to a higher level, such as level 5, to be able to use the Upload Data icon.  You can search for it or find it in the G Code folder.

When you use the Upload Data icon, you do not need the Begin and End icons that you normally need.  If you leave these icons in, the program will not work.  To see your data on a graph, right click on the Data Sets terminal of the icon and select Create, Indicator.  A graph will appear on the front panel.  When you run the program, the data will be loaded from the NXT or RCX and displayed on the graph.
