| How can I use the serial port of my Intel-based Mac with ROBOLAB 2.9? |
Intel Mac Users need to update their VISA drivers to NI-VISA Version 4.0 for Mac OS X in order to use the serial port with ROBOLAB 2.9.
The driver can be downloaded here.
In order to download the software you will need to register at the NI site. Follow the link (“continue the download process”) at the bottom of the page
Once you have completed the registration process you will be returned to the NI-VISA Version 4.0 for Mac OS X page and you should see that you now have the option to download the driver (NI-VISA-4.0.0.dmg).
Extract and mount the file and follow the directions for installation. You will need administrative access to install the driver. You will also be required to restart your computer after installing the driver.
