When using the power level modifiers, the ROBOLAB software allows for settings of 1 to 5. The RCX has 100 speed settings using RoboLab 2.9 firmware (using the old ROBOLAB 2.5.4 firmware allowed the RCX to have only 8 speed settings).
The comparison speeds are as follows:
ROBOLAB Power Setting 1 = RCX setting 10
ROBOLAB Power Setting 2 = RCX setting 20
ROBOLAB Power Setting 3 = RCX setting 40
ROBOLAB Power Setting 4 = RCX setting 60
ROBOLAB Power Setting 5 = RCX setting 100
Note: If you use the new Motor Power icon, you can set the power setting to any value between 0 and 100.
These values will appear normally on the RCX.
