Question details:

I've loaded ROBOLAB 2.9 (not 2.9.2 or 2.9.3 - the disc says it's 2.9) on my classroom iMacs and it runs fine. The OS on the iMacs is 10.4.X

However, my MacBook is using 10.5.8. Upon launching ROBOLAB 2.9, it states that 3 VIs are missing or the path to them is wrong. The 3 VIs are:

Service Locator_National Instruments.vi
HelpServer_National Instruments.vi
Lv_quit.vi

It then launches LabVIEW 7 express. In LabVIEW, I can create VIs, but they will not be compatible with ROBOLAB and I cannot use the ROBOLAB tools.

Can you help me get the program installed properly?

Answer:

To install ROBOLAB 2.9 on Mac OS 10.5.8 (Snow Leopard), you must:

1. Install ROBOLAB 2.9 - it will probably not work this time around.
2. Completely uninstall ROBOLAB 2.9 by dragging it to the trash.
3. Reinstall ROBOLAB 2.9 - this time, it will work.
