How do I log data in Investigator program level 4 and 5?

There are three important components to include in your program when logging data in investigator. 


Unless otherwise specified, data that is captured is recorded as the value of the sensor specified vs. time.  The first step is to initialize the sensor. In inventor there are many different sensors that can be used to log data, all of these can be found in the investigator section of the functions palette.  Below is an example of a light sensor initialize.

There are only three data sets that can be used: red, blue and yellow.

The next thing to add is the start logging data icon.

Next your program does whatever it is going to do while you log data, then the stop logging data icon is used to stop logging data.
