Tool for School: Make a tool to aid you at school—a robotic pencil holder, a calculator, a lunch box—whatever you think will help make you a successful scholar.
Created by Professor Ethan Danahy of Tufts University, Dr. E’s WeDo Challenges and Dr. E’s MINDSTORMS Challenges encourage students to create solutions to open-ended problems using LEGO robotics. A new challenge is posed each month. Students work during the month to design an original project in response to the challenge, sharing their creation by posting photos and videos of their project. Everyone can vote for their favorite entry, with the winner being named that month’s fan favorite. Submissions come from students around the world; the two Dr. E’s sites have almost one thousand registered users from 49 countries.
Do you have a LEGO BOOST kit? The new BOOST platform can be used for both the WeDo and MINDSTORMS Challenges.
